SACRIFICE: First 'The Ones I Condemn' Audio Teaser Available
February 24, 2009A 34-second teaser for "The Ones I Condemn", the much-anticipated new album from reunited Canadian thrashers SACRIFICE, is available below. Tentatively due this spring via Brazil's Marquee Records, the CD was recorded at Rouge Valley Studio in Toronto, Ontario with engineer Darius Szczepaniak, who has previously worked with I MOTHER EARTH, SUM 41 and EDWIN, among many others.
SACRIFICE vocalist/guitarist Rob Urbinati previously stated about the band's new CD, "I can't find words to describe the sonic Armageddon we have laid down. . . We were talking about how we wouldn't trade this sound for anything. Darius, our engineer, took our visions and is really making it happen. It is raw, thick, all the instruments sound heavy alone…together it is completely devastating. It sounds real. It sounds like a band, not a computer-program-fixed band. . . We cannot wait to unleash this album to the world."
SACRIFICE is planning to release a new DVD, "Live Reanimation", later in the year, featuring the band's complete reunion show from September 2006 at the Day Of The Equinox II festival in Toronto, Ontario at the Opera House. The group's original lineup performed tracks from their classic metal releases: "Torment In Fire" (1986),"Forward To Termination" (1987) and "Soldiers of Misfortune" (1990).
